City Auto Sales in Boise, Idaho does NOT have a website, email address, Carfax account or Facebook Marketplace account, however, scammers have created all of these under the fraudulent identity of Herb Huskinson. There are fake Google reviews that detail people pleased with the service Herb and his wife provide for high end luxury car purchases. From what I understand, people interested in a car advertised call the fake Herb (who speaks with an Eastern European accent) at a fake phone number and then email information back and forth in which the fake Herb provides fraudulent documents including Idaho titles in order to get the customer a loan if they need one. People have paid down payments and then traveled from out of state to pick up the vehicle just to find that it is all a scam. The latest victim was from Washington, DC and his bank is not cooperating in stopping payment to the scammer. City and State police departments have been contacted but with so many scams out there they cannot offer a productive solution. This is serious and people are losing large amounts of money to these scammers. I do not know how to spread the word to protect other consumers. I and others have written Google reviews with warnings but they get deleted or hidden.
