I’ve been looking for new housing on a sites like Trulia & Westside Rental. I came across a location I wanted to schedule a viewing. I was contacted by someone who insisted I needed to check my credit thru this credit union website. I actually had already signed up thru another credit service but this person told me it had to be checked to their real estate credit union. I should have known but I signed up & checked my credit thru the site provided. I went to cancel after attaining my score & the system doesn’t recognize my login , when I go to reset a different way it ask for my full social security. This person also tried to get me to pay for an application fee before I even saw the place. Tried to get me to pay $75 to 3 different Venmo accounts to no avail, said Venmo accounts were his wife & daughters’. Here’s his info, probably just using his name but from this email got me into text convo & lead me to fake TransUnion site that fished my info:
