I have an email that I can forward to you with the estimate and fake inspection. I have a home listed for sale, and have a Ring camera that allows me to see that the inspector was only at my home for 20 minutes to do an inspection that was very much a conflict of interest. Home inspectors are not allowed to give an invoice estimate per the SC Realtors Association to attempt to scam a home seller into fixing unnecessary items in order to sell their home. A chimney inspector should not be allowed to use such tactics either. I would also like them to reimburse me for the loss of a sale when they told the buyers of my home that I must spend over $19,000 in unnecessary repairs in order to close on my home that was under contract with said buyers. My fireplace has been in proper working order since I have lived there with zero issues. I already have a chimney cap and they told them that I needed another one at a cost of $1,690.
