We found him

We stayed on this hotel at Buellton and happened to see him at the lobby. When I asked the Barista who he is, he told me, that's Chef Tret Touissant.

Hired this joke of a person to cook a meal for my husband and I's anniversary. Paid him the deposit in May and 3 months later the remainder of the cost. A week prior to our anniversary dinner I reached out, since I had received no confirmation. I text, called (the number is out of service) emailed his email and emailed him through his booking site for confirmation. I got nothing back. Today was our dinner, thankfully I prepared by getting things to make dinner just in case he didn't show up. It is an hour past the agreed upon time and he never showed. Never call, sent an email back, nothing. Beware he is a scan artist. Thankfully my bank has already issued a refund.

Hired by him to take over a client's event in late June this year, as he had a family emergency and could not perform catering services. Client paid him directly, and he was supposed to turn over those funds to us for stepping in to perform services.

Will not respond to emails, phone calls, nor text messages. We have an outstanding bill of $971

I went through Bark.com to find a caterer for my son's wedding. I was put in touch with Tret Toussaint (cheftoussaint.com) and spoke with him on the phone (503-997-0999). We discussed details of the job and drew up a contract through Honeybook (a CMS). Everything was done by phone or online due to Covid. I paid the deposit of $773.30 on June 1, 2021 and a final payment of $1,316.70 on August 2, 2021. Multiple calls, texts and emails were un-answered after the final payment was made and the caterers did not show up for the event or contact us to say there was some kind of problem. Multiple attempts at contact since the event have not been answered. Bark and Honeybook have not been able to help us. We recovered some of the money from the credit card company (thank you Chase Bank), but the initial deposit was paid more than 60 days earlier.

We have been scammed by him too. Just discovered this site today, and have left reviews on his two yelp business listings as well.

He found us through bark (we're a caterer) and we took a client job that he couldn't do because of a death in his family. Client paid him, he was supposed to have paid us, and didn't. We performed the job but haven't been compensated.

I hope we all can get our money that's owed.

I hired a caterer for my son's wedding. I paid the 50% retainer fee. He has since disappeared and is not returning calls or email. It is now 14 days before the event with no response from the Chef Toussaint or the staff. We now see three days ago someone filed a scam report here on the ScamPulse.com on the same caterer.

Caterer was hired for family event. Gave them a deposit. Day before event they processed the remainder of the bill. Day of event they sent an email under the heading "payment being processed" so family member did not open the email until the time of event when caterer did not show. Message was that the caterer had an emergency and cancelled the event. No phone calls to notify us of cancellation. Now they will not answer phone or reply to email and have not received a refund.
