Type of a scam Family/Friend Emergency

On Tuesday, 2/28/23 2 1:25 pm I received a call from a scammer. They called from an "unknown" number using my cell phone number but asking for my son. The person stated that they were an officer from the US Customs & Border Control and was looking for my son because they have a package that was sent to him from Mexico from some woman and it contains illegal drugs and that there will be an investigation concerning it. They had my son's complete name and address and asked to speak to him directly; I was at work, though. They stated that they were only trying to help, that I was on a recorded line and there will be an investigation and a warrant for my son concerning the case and ask what time they can reach my son. I think the call either dropped due to the building I work poor connection, or that they just hung up. I can identify that the person was a Spanish speaker because of the accent and there was noise in the background such as another male voice speaking to someone in the background.
