I received a call from this number 850-633-2646 telling me I still owed on a Cash Advance payday loan that I had got like over 5-6 years ago, they said that loan didn't get paid off and so that they had a warrant out to arrest me, he said he was calling from the attorney general office and then had the sheriff's department office from Muleshoe Texas call me. So I got scared and agreed to pay what I still owed, I wouldn't had believed them but when that number from Muleshoe called me I thought they were for real, so I sent them through moneygram $1400. But after I did that they tried to ask for more so then I started questioning him and I called Muleshoe police department and they advised me they had nothing on me and that's when I knew it was a scam! I don't know if anything can get done, but I just would hate for this to happen to someone else. So I hope you can help me, I'm a single mother and I was just thinking about my kids and that I couldn't go to jail! I had to borrow the money so now I owe this money and it was just a mess! What scares me is that this person had all my information about me when he called me. How can I protect myself from this and the number they used to call me from Muleshoe was the sheriff's department, when I finally talked to the real police he said they kloned their number. Very scary and wrong but anyways I just wanted to report this may you can stop these evil people. Thank you for your help.
