I put in a job application for a remote job position. On indeed it did ask me, “do you mind receiving text about this application. I thought it was weird but the way technology changes all the time, I accepted. I received a text instructing me to begin a chat with this person from HR on Microsoft teams. I received an interview that had tons of red flags. I then realized it was a scam and stopped responding. Upon further research, I found that others had been hit recently with the same scam and had money taken from them. So I wanted to post here for record of what also happened to me by the same people.
