I received a letter from Capital One stating that I was pre-approved for auto financing for $4000 to $55,000 through Capital One. There was a bar code on the letter that I could scan as well as a number to call and personal code. I scanned the barcode and a page pulled up for me to enter my credit card number. And this letter stated there would be no cost to me. After I entered my husband's card number, it declined to take it. So I closed the site. Then my husband received a phone call from Bank Plus asking had he used his card. My husband said yes, but it had declined. Bank Plus told me it was from a dating escort service and this service tried to take two different amounts out of our checking account. $39.99 and $2.00. My husbands card was canceled. I have the letter and if I need to mail it to you, let me know. This is a scam letter for sure. Thanks
