I was trying to buy an item but didn’t vet the website thoroughly and a PayPal transaction was used through my credit card. I was flag for a fraud alert and called my bank to cancel my card and report the activity. The url for the website was show on a reliability website to be highly rated but after digging further i found more evidence that it was in fact a scam.
