I received the text msg below from said potential employer, sent at 4:45am EST from a number with 772 area code. (I do live in that time zone, so I found that suspicious for a first contact.) Not the most professional to say the least. I did not click the link:

Same as above, except I was contacted via email. It sounded like a "too good to be true" offer, so I googled and found this.

I am on Indeed looking for a remote job, he contacted me via text saying he found me on Indeed. He asked for my name and address and tried conducting a interview via text messaging. After about 8 mins and him telling me the job was 10 hours a week and the pay would be 750-900 a week. I then started to look him up with more and had my husband help me. I cut conversation off immediately and blocked his number after not gaining enough info on the business and finding no supporting evidence that the job was real.
