There is a forum on this company on Reddit you can review for this Brisk Logistics LLC scam. I was made a generous offer by Alison Hilding at Brisk Logistics as a Checking Specialist receiving packages and using their online software application to receive them, open and inspect, re-package in same box with their pre-printed label and mail back out. They sent quite a few training videos on how to receive and send out packages and a 23-page contract I had to sign. They also requested my photo ID with my face next to it. They also had me fill out a W-4 form. It all looked official. In some cases, there were high dollar items called VIP pkgs that needed to be picked up with an additional bonus. The total I could make was around $3600/mo for about 60 packages per month plus very good bonuses per pkg if done correctly and timely. I requested and received very quickly their official EIN letter from the IRS and 3 other official-looking docs a Certificate of Existence and Organization in the State of Iowa, ironically located at an address associated with Amazon there. She said they were a fulfillment center for international customers who wanted to buy popular US products and have them shipped to their country, but US retailers would not ship directly to them. Although it was a younger company, 3/2023, I decided to proceed. It was August 2023. She said they were affiliated with Amazon. I asked where she got my name. They said their lead generator pulled me up off Indeed and my resume does have shipping/rec experience. It seemed too good to be true as far as income, but I reviewed all their corporate documents. I figured int'l customers must be paying some sort of fee to acquire these items. A couple red flags were spelling errors on their 23-page contract, a repeated testimonial on their website, not getting paid for 30 days after the "trial period" than getting paid for the whole month, high bonuses for timely and accurate shipping, an unusual link on their site with an obsolete website to order things, no link to popular retailers in the area that they claim international customers order from and a phone # that rings fast busy. You could not call the company to validate them. I also had 2 shipping managers Kin Laurelle and Reg Austin but all their #s you can only leave a msg. They NEVER answered the phone. They did call me as soon as a shipment was coming in to verify that I received the notice. I figured I would take a chance anyway. I requested a mailed check, not a direct deposit via my bank account info. They also offered a Paypal solution. I did not want to give them my SSN for the W4, but she insisted I had to complete that to get paid. I shipped the first package when it arrived, a sample order. I was told to pick up a VIP pkg for my 2nd package in a seedy part of town at night that the Walgreens guy said was not in his FedEx pile. Brisk apologized for my inconvenience. Then radio silence for a week. I reached out wondering what the problem was and why no packages were coming in since I was supposed to be shipping 15 pkgs / week. Then they called me back with a new job offer as a Purchasing Agent for the company using their corporate card because they lacked people in the area to make purchases for the customers. They said that is why I was not getting any packages. Those packages I would have to ship out as well for a total of $60k per year. That is when I knew something was off. I told her to send me the details of the job to have it on record. She did not. They could have set up a brisk logistics credit card and/or bank acct using my personal info ID and SSN as I had to supply both to accept the job offer. Then, I would be liable for any items purchased and sent out to the black hole. They would have the product. I would be broke. I immediately put a watch/freeze on the 3 credit bureaus for $12 /mo. on Aura (can also use Lifelock). Plus, I created a flag on chexsystems.com so no one can open a checking acct in my name. There are others who have worked for similar companies doing the same thing (ShopLite Logistics LLC) that got suspected fraud signs on their packages. You become the fall guy/gal for any of their nefarious activities and not one person has been paid that I have seen. They probably steal your identity to open new credit cards to buy products or they use you as the middleman for handling stolen goods from using other people's identities to open credit cards. I plan on forwarding all of their info to the FBI. Screenshot everything they send and save all docs on your hard drive. I should have consulted Reddit beforehand. If it sounds too good, it probably is. Always trust your gut...

I first received a phone call from Alfie Sands on August 9th, 2023 at 1658. We spoke on the phone for about 10 minutes. Alfie called me from the following phone number: 563-521-0001. He told me they received my application and that I qualified for their "Checking Specialist position at Brisk Logistics". He briefly told me about the position, which entailed receiving packages, taking pictures of the contents, re-sealing and attaching a new shipping label they sent to me, and shipping it off again for 500 dollars a week, plus bonuses for shipping quickly. Alfie said that the first paycheck would be after 30 days, then it would switch to bi-weekly. I was told that I was able to set up an account with them, here: https://brisk-dashboard.com/user/login.php. After setting up an account I was told that a package would be sent out to me and that if I sent it out quickly enough then I would receive a bonus of $40.

The following day, Marla Strands contacted me via email ([email protected]) that she would call me from 563-284-1630, and introduce herself as my manager.

After the first few packages came in, and they were shipped out, I started to wonder why I hadn't filled out any tax forms as of yet. I asked Marla and she said that HR would be contacting for me that. Their accounting department emailed me (11 august, 2023) ([email protected]) and stated that I needed to send them my payment information, such as if I wanted direct deposit then I'd need to email them back with my bank account information (account number, routing, address, name, etc), or I could provide them with my Paypal email address to be paid that way, or, as a last result, I could have it mailed to me if I provided them with my mailing address. I opted for paypal.

On 12 August, 2023, the accounting department emailed me again requesting that I download their tax form, which was pulled from the IRS.gov website, fill it out, and email it back to them. I did not fill it out or email it back, as I am not comfortable with emailing my social security number, address, full name, and all other personal information, to a company that I was starting to question.

I sent them an email stating I would be away from home, and unable to proceed with any packages for a week, which they ignored and sent packages to my home anyway. Then they called and said that if I didn't send out the packages then I would be penalized and held responsible, legally, for the packages. Marla Strands and Fred Colt had called me over 30 times within two days, and left multiple voicemails stating that I needed to send out these packages... even though I emailed them stating I was going to be away from home. They then disabled my account online, so I was unsure what to do with these packages at my home. I reached out again, via email (I wanted everything in writing rather than a phone call), and let them know I couldn't access the dashboard so I couldn't send anything out, to which Marla rapidly replied, and said it was fixed!

This is a package mule scam. Avoid at all costs.

Also to note: Their address shows a warehouse for sale in Iowa.
