Got a text this morning from BlueOcean ventures. I’m glad I did some research prior to actually caring about this. Something about this just seemed way to good to be true, which normally it is. So I’m glad other people are posting about this scam!

So I received a text message from this William McMahon stating they got my information from indeed and they checked over my resume and I was successfully was all it said and went on to say position starts at 35 dollars an hour and asked if I had the telegram messenger app to go on with an interview so I set one up but while it was downloading I seen the scampulse website online while checking. Into this company that was obviously to good to be true and so I asked William McMahon if he ever heard of scam pulse because they were running his name through the mud. Then I said so what were you planning on doing with me and how did you think you were going to accomplish this inquiring minds want to know. And he deleted me off the telegram app as well as deleted our conversation haha

It was a job offer. I had applied in many jobs and didn't remember if I has applied on this one or was it a scam. I googled and found this page where it showed this person as a scam. I am glad that I found out before giving him any details.

I found this job on indeed and as a remote job but the pay they are offering is significantly hire than what they posted. My phone has been bombarded by text from different numbers. I woke up one morning to a text saying they found my resume on a job searching website. I should have known something was up since I didn't use that sight. Anyway, the scammers were adamant about me depositing a check into my bank account. They tried to email me the check then they mailed it. I took it to my bank and they said it was fake. When I expressed my displeasure at being tricked the scammer said I was suppose to deposit it in the ATM. Obviously I am not doing that. Be careful people, sometimes if a job is too good to be true it is.

Msg from scammer via text: Good day I am David Austin, Head of the Hiring Recruiters Dept. at BlueOcean Ventures Company and your resume was successfully reviewed and the company is offering you the chance to work for us for the position of Customer Service and the pay is $35.00 per hour. If you are interested kindly confirm by replying YES I AM or simply YES. Thank You! I stated yes. He stated we I had to msg him thru Telegram for the interview. I’m thing it was going to be a video app. It was all text. I became suspicious so I typed his number in google and it came back as a scam, I played along the entire time until he told me congrats I got the job. I asked him when do I start. He responded ack with I would have to sign some paper work from HR first, I then told him to stop scamming and wasting others time. He never responded back.
