Like others, I received a package addressed to me.

It said that it was from Jerry(001)-Yasfbara. The address was 9208 Charles Smith Ave, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730

The shipping company on the label is SpeedX.

There is a QR code on the package.

I didn't scan the code or open the package yet.

I did an online search and found that this is a known scam.

I think it is linked to an issue last week where I received an email from a friend and it turned out that their email had been hacked.

It knows my name and home address so my personal information is definitely stolen which is worrying. that is why I am reporting this on the Better Business Bureau (BBB) Scam Tracker.

I just received two items through the mail that I did not order, nor do I recognize the name of the sender.

Since I just received the items, I don’t know if the scammer will try to collect money for the items. It does not appear that anything was charged to my credit card, so I have no idea how such a scam benefits the sender. I put the address in my search bar and discovered that many people have had the same experience.
