I was sent an Amazon package addressed to me - Richard Meade, that I did not order and that did not show up on my order summary. I was told this something called "brushing". I reported it to Amazon and the FTC.

Rec'd random unordered package in my name with no return name/business. Return address of 2859 N. Brea Blvd. Fullerton CA 92835, This address is to a 7-11. Contained a cheap shoeshine brush. USPS Tracking 9200 1903 3809 3854 8648 4301 46. Under that label is another with no return address, still addressed to me. There is a bar code with numbers and letters, but under those is a line of Chinese characters.

An unknown and unexpected package arrived from “4868 Duff Dr, Cincinnati, OH 45246” with a note inside stating: “ Dear valued customers, How are you today? Your item is in another package and usually arrives within 1-7 working days. Thank you very much for your purchase, we really value your business.”

We received this same thing today. I went online and saw that this has happened to many people. We've never ordered from FB so I went as far as researching the addresses. It looks like they're using 2 addresses. 4860 and 4868 Duff Dr in Cincinnati. 4860 belongs to a place called NOVOTECH and there is no 4868. Whatever you do... do not scan those bar codes!

From what I’ve read this is a “brushing scam” - I was sent an item I clearly did not order or would ever order and the package is from china but covered in so much tape to look as if it’s from the US. It’s from “Joe Doe” 475 Supreme Dr Bensenville IL 60106. That address does yield a warehouse, but align from what I’ve read, it’s a scam

It was a label obviously done on a computer or machine and probably others like it were made too. At top of the label it read USP Postage and fees Paid

C803331 Commercial 5.0 oz zone 1 Easypost 0901000004226 tracking #9400 1361 5535 7075 93. A red box with a fake ciamond solitaire was in the box. No note or anything about who it was from. No invoice. Just a nicely printed brochure for the company GRA it said Moissanite Report which apparently is the kind of stone it is or they are claiming it is.

Report #890079275 explaining all about the stone and its quality. Says the company tests stones for people who send them into them to rate or certify. It came with a card with GRA on it and the report # again saying it was a warranty and certificate of authentic register your GRA purchase online www.gra-moissanites.com I don't know wh at to do with it now. As far as I know I have not been charged for this. I have no idea how much they think it is worth. I have a feeling they will try and take money from one of my accounts. I have had a lot of fraud lately.

We have been receiving packages from Walmart on our doorstep being dropped off by civilians and regular cars and not by USPS or UPS or a delivery company. There was no name on 2 packages and on 1 of the packages there was a name but we've never seen that name before. Someone rang our doorbell and we told them to take the package back which they did but someone else came back and dropped another package off on our doorstep. I have taken a picture of one of the packages and the other picture has a name, order number and address so I didn't take a picture of that.

Last night I received a shipment addressed to me with my exact address. I did NOT order this. It was in an Amazon box with unbroken Amazon tape. The box contained 3 identical small black boxes, sealed in shrink wrap. The boxes are generic with no brand name; just a misspelled description of contents. Each side of the small black boxes has 2 different addresses: "AC WORKS CONSULTING Srl, Via Vilfredo Pareto 125,47521, Cesena(FC), Italy" and "UK CROSSBORDER LIMITED, 7 Bell Yard London WC2 A2JR,UK, United Kingdom". I opened one box and found black wireless earbuds in a charging case. This was not ordered from my Amazon account. I have searched this situation online and see that it is likely a scam.

I keep receiving packages through the mail from this company. I looked them up on-line but I wasn't successful in obtaining valid information. It looks to be an eBay name. I can't find a phone number or e-mail address for this company. I don't even think the address is correct. The first package I opened up by mistake, it was a gold terry towel cloth. There was no packing slip or receipt inside. I have received another package looks bigger but feels the same. I didn't open it up. I am going to return to the sender. I am not ordering from this company but they are sending packages to my house with my name on them. I dont want to be a part of a scam. I am going to report this scam every way I can to protect myself. I've been checking my credit cards and bank statements. I haven't found any debit transactions from my statements. I want them to stop sending me merchandise that I didn't order. I don't want to be involved with a brushing scam. Please advise!
