I was working on my laptop and a warning popped up saying my computer had a virus and I should not attempt to close the program or turn it off or I would lose all my files. So I called the number on the screen and a heavily accented man (named Nathan) said my computer had been hacked and I was at risk of having all my personal information and my identity stolen. But for $450.00 he could solve that problem with an impenetrable internet security system. I was so scared, I fell for it. I feel so stupid. It wasn't look before I realized what he was telling me didn't really make much sense. If someone hacked my computer and had my information, what good would it be to get security now? That's an abbreviated version of the story but I just don't want anyone else to lose money like I did.
