birdsfarm4all.com Reports & Reviews (1)

After the death of our bird last month we decided to get a new one. Wife found a website and put a post there that we are looking for Congo African Grey parrot. A guy from 213-419-7788 called my wife and said he has the bird and can ship it to TX from CA. He gave his name as Harry Sensory and sent his website address birdsfarm4all.com to check it out. To convince us that he has the bird he sent us a picture of the parrot with hand written note on the cage containing my wife's name (attached).

In the SMS chat Harry said that the total cost of the bird with the shipment is $700.00 total. In advance $300.00, and after delivery $400.00. He provided this phone number 240-470-3029 and asked us to Zelle transfer $300.00 there. The name attached to this phone number came out as "KINGSLAY AMAECHI" using BofA phone application.

Even though I was very skeptical, but to make my wife happy, I Zelle transfer $300.00 to "KINGSLAY AMAECHI" on 12/13/2020. Harry acknowledged the transfer received and said he will ship the bird tomorrow. Next day on 12/14/2020 he called my wife and said that he has shipped the bird using USPS (postal fraud) but can not give the tracking number unless we Zelle transfer him remaining $400.00. I asked him to send the image of the receipt from USPS without the tracking number but he refused to do it and keep telling us to send him $400.00 and then he will deliver the bird.

When we insisted, he gave us another number (213-797-0843) to talk to the shipping agent. The agent told us that he has the bird but bird is getting sick and he would need to take the bird to a vet and get it vaccinated. . He gave us an email address ([email protected]) with name Rubby Kain to Zelle transfer $400.00 (may be he mixed us up with somebody else, second scam was going on). Then he corrected himself and asked us to send $400.00 to "KINGSLAY AMAECHI" at 240-470-3029.

At this time I just want my $300.00 refunded. I know it is not going to happen. We learned our lesson.

213-419-7788 and 213-797-0843 are both Google phone numbers.

"KINGSLAY AMAECHI" is registered with Zelle at 240-470-3029. He is the boss of this scam I think. We should trace this thug out and stop this scamming at least from this Zelle number? I already reported the fraud to BofA fraud department. They told me that it will take 45 days to investigate the case. Yes, after 45 days, after 100s more fraud victims. :-(
