I got a text from the phone # (844)444-5288 asking me to return call at (727)300-0100. Said that her name was Lisa from Bio Genetics Laboratory in St. Petersburg FL. Had my name, address & phone number and said I may qualify for genetic testing for cancer. If I have ever had or family members had cancer then I would qualify. I NEVER give out my info, especially my Medicare or SS#, but since there is a lot of cancer in my family (including myself- melanoma) I gave her my medicate # (I know that was really a dumb thing to do) but as I was talking to her I was looking up everything she told me on line. IT all seemed legit, so I did tell her my Medicare #. She waited a sort while and said my insurance does not cover the testing at this time. I did not have a good feeling about this, sobthat is why I contacted you.
