Artist Billie Lucinda on Instagram

I got a message from an artist named Billie Lucinda on Instagram saying the wanted to use my likeness for an art project for a client. She would credit me and give me compensation but I said I didn't need payment. She kept insisting, saying that her client would not permit her to start unless I was paid, which tipped me off to it being a scam so I treaded lightly. She said, "the check is for $1000x2 while your cut from that would be 500, I [Billie]will use the remaining for materials and profit" meaning I [me] would get the full amount and then have to give her what's left of the money, a big no no. So I created a new email, gave it to Billie, and that's when I got a check from Savannah JoJo. I then did a quick google search, found this email linked with another Instagram scam, and boom, Blocked.
