I was left a comment on a TikTok video saying the company was looking for ambassadors and wanted me to message them on instagram, which I did. They said they would give me a “for life” discount code and I would earn commission every time someone made a purchase using my code. I was also told I would get a $100 gift card for every 3 times my personal code was used. Then they told me I had to make a purchase using the code ******, send them a screenshot, and then I’d officially be a brand ambassador. When I questioned the validity, Olivia got upset with me even though I was polite. Olivia was messaging me from the instagram account @bfitamazingactivewear but their official instagram account is @bfitamazingofficial. I checked the website using a scam detector and the website failed horribly. I also did research to find out the hallmark signs of a scam and they did all of the red flags(asks you to message them, messages you from a different account than the official brand account, and says you have to buy something from them to become an ambassador).
