Bettertanswim sells see-through swimwear and makes returns impossible
Upon placing my order, I paid $99.00 and received a tracking number that says it was shipped from Des Plaines, Illinois (Tracking number: ********************** via USPS). I received the package and when trying it on, realized you can see right through the bathing suit, and that their advertisements and claims were false. I then reached out to the company via [email protected] hoping to return it for a refund. They let me know that it is their policy to only give store credit if you use a promo code (which I did use - from one of their advertisements that claims the item is not see through). I let them know I don't want anything else from this store, as they are falsely advertising online. They let me know they are willing to accept my return for a full refund and that the return address is in...Bulgaria?
The cost to return these goods was estimated at $160 across all options to ship to the company. This company is a scam, offering false advertisements about their goods, and then wants you to spend more than the cost of the item, to return it back to them. They state nowhere where the return address is on their website and are taking advantage by not supplying this critical information on their website.
