FMCSA Motor Carrier USDOT # 2917097, DBA as Best Direct Shipping. I was requesting bids on U'Ship, a website where shippers bid on a shipping request. I received multiple bids from Daily Direct. I picked an economy rate from them, open trailer, just an old motorcycle needed to be shipped. I was contacted then by their company representative Jim Powers who immediately sent me an online check to fill out with my routing number, checking account # etc. for the initial deposit of $185.00, and the money was taken from me account the next day. I was emailed a promise to pick up my motorcycle within the week. 10 days passed, no contact, no pick up of motorcycle, no returned phone calls, no returned emails, just money taken for nothing. This business is a fraud! See Transport Reviews, an online review company for further horror stories about this company. They use a guise as a shipping company, steal your money then deliver no service! Wasted two weeks, delayed my valuable shipment, inconvenienced me and the person storing the motorcycle, stole my money!
