I called this company (Best and Fast Junk Removal) and was told it will cost 150.00us dollars to remove a mattress from my fathers home (father is 88yrs old) I was not there at the time they arrived and when they did they told my father it will cost 185.00us dollars to remove and that they only accept cash so my father paid in cash and they did not give my father a receipt. The day before when I made this appt the woman on the phone told me they accept credit card, checks and cash, but the men that showed up at my fathers house told him they only accept cash and they raised the price on him, so then I called him and asked why he raised the price and why he didn't give my father a receipt and he said we charge more when we have to go in the house and that he will send me an email with the receipt now, he sent an email with a receipt that was totally blank, so then I called the company to verify and they told me yes they accept credit card, checks and cash, and then also asked why they sent me a blank receipt and she told me she will send me a new receipt written out correctly so she did. This seems a little fishy to me and I think they need to be checked out because they could be doing this to many senior citizens who are more passive on this dishonest behavior. Taking advantage of innocent elderly people is very wrong and must be stopped.
