The original job was to test Nike Products. It was advertised as a position with Nike. I was hired and that process took about 10 days or so. As it unfolded it turned out to be a scam involving wiring money and being a secret shopper for both Nike and Walmart. The Nike ad drew you in and it was really to send you a fake cashier's check and then you would test Walmart's Monogram and Western Union services and report back if the attendants were knowledgeable, rude, etc. It seemed suspicious and as I investigate it was a widespread scam. It seem legitimate during the starting process and I can see how people get sucked in. Had I cashed the check in my possession I would be out $2000 or more. It may have given the scammers access to my checking account from what I have heard. I have reported this to KSL.com which does a lot of classified ads in my area. Salt Lake City, Utah.
