Online Retailer Scam

Needed tiles for bathroom floor re do, ordered from their site, payment was taken but store doesn't even have product advertised. tried three times to get resolved, got one response saying they are waiting to hear from supplier... called my credit card company today they are trying to resolve. Called their 800 number and got an answering machine. This appears to me as a scam; shouldn't be selling something you don't possess.
