I ordered a pair of Thalia barefoot shoes in early December. When they arrived, I was shocked to see that they were the same exact shoes I’d just returned to Shein, but were 40 dollars more. They were poor quality, too large, and not as pictured. I tried to contact support as their website indicates to begin a return, however the email listed is inactive. I then emailed their info@ address and began what has now turned into a 13 email attempt to send these back and receive a refund. Their website doesn’t say that the return shipping is the responsibility of the customer, however when I emailed that’s what I was told. Initially, they offered me a 25% without returning the shoes. I asked for the return address so that I could [censored] how much it would cost to send back. They then offered me a 50% refund to keep the shoes. The rep wouldn’t give me the return address until I threatened to report them, 11 emails into the dispute. There were several weeks where they ignored my emails outright. In the 12th email, I was finally given the return address. Though the shoes came from a warehouse here in the states, I was to return the shoes to an address in China, which would cost me more than the price of the shoes. This whole ordeal has been completely ridiculous, and I would advise anyone interested in their products to think twice.
