Beware! We lost $12800 to them. We prepaid for a small RV to be delivered to Canada. Was supposed to take 7 to 10 days but 4 months later and many excuses for the delay we knew it was a scam. They wont answer our emails anymore. They had even sent us a bill of sale, invoice, carfax, etc but no title. We are pensioners with too much trust and too little wisdom. Please don't fall for their elaborate website and cheap prices.

Baden Automotive Center [https://badenautomotivecenter.com/seized.html] purports to be a business that sells repossessed vehicles purchased at auction. I had a series of online chats and email threads when I attempted to purchase a small motorhome from them. Their communication was suspicious in that no one ever answered the phone. They communicated only by chat at first, and then the person on the chat would contact the sales person who would send email. It was odd. I specifically requested to speak to someone on the phone, and they ignored that request. Their website was very professional, so I was not overly suspicious, just cautious. However, I did google the physical address of their supposed "showroom" to find that it was an empty lot. I also could not find any information about them from the ScamPulse.com (good or bad). Their website was copyrighted 2020, which did not seem realistic given how extensive their inventory was. We got as far as arranging for me to send a wire transfer of approximately $5000 deposit on a $15,000 vehicle. I googled the name of the bank and found it was a place called Transferwise that is evidently a legitimate business specializing in low-fee international funds transfer. Well, that raised red flags, and I put a halt to the whole thing. I asked them to prove to me that this was NOT a scam, by allowing me to speak to a human being. I asked them to verify the address of their showroom and explain to me why google earth showed an empty lot. Well, after multiple frequent emails and chats, they stopped all communication at that point.

It's good to know someone out there echo my suspicious. There are many red flags in their "professional" web site. All customers review are fake simple by lookup the pictures, all vehicle inspection reports are identical and issued in a same day. The business registration is "Administrative Dissolution" under Missouri Secretary of State. The golden rule: if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
