This company (and they seem to have several names), advertises the purchase of a knee compression sock where you're only require to pay an introductory price plus shipping. I paid $14.92 on April 26. For me, transaction completed. On May 9, a charge appears on my credit card for $37.57, with a merchant name of backsocksleeve.com and the telephone number 877-887-1922. When I called this number to dispute the charge, a foreign-speaking customer service person tells me I signed up for VIP membership when I order the sock, which is BS. She sends me a screenshot showing a charge of $6.95 and some kind of disclaimer statement, which I am sure they manufactured. In her email, she also claims someone name Derek Jenkins emailed me to let me know I had an opportunity to cancel, which is also a LIE. Every email I have received from this Derek Jenkins (who I do not think is real), is trying to sell more product and asking me to "activate" my account. Even after I spoke with the CSR on May 9, I got another email from this Derek Jenkins account, with the same marketing language trying to sell me more product. I do not know how many times they have initiated this scam but if you multiply roughly $50 across potentially thousands of "customers," the cash adds up for them obviously. I have every email I have received from these people and they are all marketing email, no notification to cancel, nothing.

Received the product, the merchandise velcro came off after wearing on second day. Then two weeks later, they ran a charge for product when before purchasing it was said $6.95 shipping only as promotion.

Backsocksleeve advertised on Instagram for a "free" pair of compression socks & I paid $6.95 for shipping. They don't tell you the socks come in 1 size only L/XL. I am petite and these would never fit me. I call company & ask for Small & they tell me they only send out L/XL, but I can rebuy a small. No thanks! Now a month later, I get a charge on my credit card for $37.57 from same company. I call again and am told that I have a subscription to get discounted products from them. What? I did not sign up for this. They'll say they sent an email where you could cancel the subscription. I don't check emails often, and I certainly did not authorize this. I demand a refund. They said they canceled the subscription and it's up to the accounting department to decide if I get a refund. I'm not holding my breath! This company is a fraud from the get go!! I called my credit card company and they will investigate the fraudulent charge and issue a new CC so they can't bill me again next month. Buyer Beware!! I just found this scam under the ScamPulse.com when I searched Back Sock Sleeve.

They offered free compression socks if I paid the shipping. Unbeknownst to me, the took my credit card information from the shipping purchase and signed me up for a "VIP membership" to a store to have "exclusive access" to compression socks. What a bizarre idea! They proceeded to charge me $24.95 for four months. I got nothing from these charges. I did not have know about this "VIP access." I had no way of even getting into this VIP store. There was no invoices or receipts. I happened to notice the charge after four months.

This operation should be shut down!

Hi, Same thing with me except i havent bothered to call them. I did go to their website & put in my email & it says theres no acc. so i have nothing but my cc info to refer to. No emails, nothing.& they've been charging me for a year! I vaguely recall ordering the free socks just pay shipping. I just discovered it. Just going to cancel my cc. There needs to be a class action lawsuit brought against this company
