they proclaimed that i needed a renewal on my warranty on my car an i told them i wasn't interested an they started calling me with different numbers i called the ones that i do have as a warranty on my car an they said my warranty is still good i shouldn't be getting any call's so i'm reporting them because when i call back it's not a working number an there is no location of this so called business.

- Cottage Grove, MN, USA

They call every week. I finally answered and there was a voice recording for “your vehicle warranty”. I pressed zero and a male voice started asking me for personal identifying info. I asked which vehicle they were calling about and he said “between 1994 and 2018”. I asked what make and model and he said he “couldn’t disclose that info”. I told him to stop calling and to take me off the call list and he immediately hung up.

calling to re-new auto warranty ,and I don't have a car . told them not to call, but still calling

- Green Bay, WI, USA

Caller has called several times. Claims they say my warranty on my car is expiring. Says press 2 to stop receiving calls an 1 to talk. Press 2 several times. I still get calls. Today I decided to talk to someone and pressed 1 to get off list. They ask what my make and model of my car.

How do they know if my car warranty is expiring if they don't know what kind of car I have. Something doesn't seem right. Plus they are unwanted calls

Pretended to be the corporate processing department of Chevy/GMC. Offered to renew service warrantee on my vehicle for $2960 For additional 5 yr , 100,000 miles. Wanted me to pay down payment of either $950 or $625. With credit card. This happened the day after my motor was determined to be junk by the auto repair shop. The shop had given me an estimate for $6000. To repair the engine. This number that called me, 706-383-2147, is a ROBOCALLER.

I've had this man call me at least 10 times from different numbers but it's the same call concerning an auto warranty. When you call the numbers back, they don't work.

- Fulton, NY, USA

The caller wants you to extend your vehicles warranty but they are a fake company.

- Buffalo, NY, USA

I got a call from an automated system saying that my car warranty is about to expire and that was their last attempt to reach me. And asked if I wanted to speak to someone trying to get me to say “yes.”

- Navasota, TX, USA

I have been contacted by multiple numbers 8 times today. They are all local area codes, and the business that I am in needs me to answer. I have requested to be removed from their call list. Calls continue, I tried to speak to an operator, and they immediately hang up on me when I ask what company they work for. Its ridiculous.

- Columbus, OH, USA

I got a recorded message this morning. I'm calling about your expired auto warranty. Do you want to speak to someone about your warranty. After you say yes, it disconnects.

- Fairport, NY, USA

Trying to sell an extended auto warranty. This is the talk track left in voicemail; "Hello, this is Kevin your auto warranty specialist. I just want to let you to know that we sent out several notifications in the mail and have not heard back from you". Oh, and they state it's a limited time offer. Ooo Wee. Total Scammers.

an automated system called me advising me my auto extended warranty will expire soon. I recently called my warranty department so I thught it was them. when asked if I wanted more info about my warranty, I answered yes. the call hung up. I called the number back and on the voicemail that picked up, it was a lady named Margaret mitchel

- Brooklyn, NY, USA

My cell phone number now receives multiple robo calls a day. Usually there is silence. This time there was a recording saying that my auto loan was about to go delinquent (note: I don't own a car) and that I should "Press 1" to speak to a specialist.

Going against better judgment and FCC recommendations, I hit #1 to hope to connect with a human being to learn more about their scam. When they asked me for my name I gave them the name of a celebrity. This unfortunately tipped them off that I was on to them. No harm no foul so far.

What happened next though really shocked me. The person on the other line then spoke into the phone and said "Put this @#$@'s number on the list and dial it another 100x since this guy is a punk and a @#$@" (expletives removed). I guess this means I am now under attack.

Why can't the FCC stop this kind of phone harassment? When I call the number back the number is disconnected. People shouldn't be able to call anonymously with no reprecussions. I fear there is no way to track them down.

The number they used was (551) 209 5669.

I check my banking, and credit card company and so far nothing has happened. The number on my caller ID was 330-587 6875. I do not recognize the number.
