10:29.18 I RECEiVED A PHONE CALL FROM 1.800.331.0808 CLAIMING TO BE AT&T. THEY STATED THAT MY WIRELESS SERVICES HAD BEEN SUSPENDED AND TO REINSTATE MY SERVICES I NEEDED TO ENTER MY LAST 4 SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER TO VERIFY MY ACCOUNT AND TO BE TRANSFERRED. THIS PHONE CALL SOUNDED SOOOO REAL... I SAT THERE FOR A COUPLE MINUTES AND ENDED THE CALL WITHOUT ENTERING MY 4 SS NUMBERS AS THEY REQUESTED..

INSTEAD I CALLED AT&T DIRECTLY AND THEY STATED MY ACCOUNT WAS CURRENT NO PAYMENT NEEDED. I ADVISED THEM OF THIS PHONE CALL & THEY REASURRED ME THEY WOULD NEVER CALL A CUSTOMER AND ASK FOR THEIR LAST 4 DIGITS OF THEIR SOCIAL SECURITY. THIS WAS A AUTOMATED ROBOT CALLER.

Man calling himself Alex and claiming to be from AT&T called to review the phone plan. The phone plan had just been changed last month. When I questioned why he was calling now when the plan had just been changed he hung up. I believe it was an imposter.

I got a call from AT&T's real number, already saved in my phone as AT&T Service Contacts. It sounded like the guy was calling from a call center in India. He said that since I've been such a loyal customer I would be getting a $99 rebate on my next bill. As soon as he asked for my PIN number I googled to see if it was a scam, and sure enough, it was. They were using spoofing to make it look like it was actually AT&T calling me. Be careful!

Said they were AT&T and said they needed my password and I was dumb and gave it to them. They asked me to repeat it and then when I did they said "thank you the problem has been resolved". I called AT&T and we reset my password. I don't know why I even gave that info out to them; Phone 1-800-331....can't see the rest of the number

My husband and I have both received multiple (six in the past 48 hours) calls to our cell phones from the AT&T Customer Care phone number. It is a pre-recorded message saying our account is about to be suspended and then asking for personal information. We have notified AT&T.

Guy calls from an 833 phone number, my caller ID says invalid number. Foreign accent guy says he is from some department of ATT.

He wants me to make an appt with a technician to bundle internet and phone, says they are going to replace old copper lines and he keeps wanting me to say the word "ok". I never did and hung up on him, I called right back to see if that was ATT number and that number was not in service.

We received a call from what appeared to be the AT&T number. They stated they were from the fraud department and it was in reference to an order on our account. We were told that there was an authorized user added and asked if we new anyone from West Virginia. This conversation goes on for quite a while to where we were told the person's name added was *** ***. They have cancelled the order and removed him from our account. We needed to change our pin. Pin Changed. We were asked to verify the code that was sent to the phone. Going to text messages....In with our other messages from At&T was the code. We verified the code. The following day we receive a call to let us know that due to our incoviences that we would receive $120.00 credit. $10.00 off our bill for the next 12 months. Day 3, I get an email about something left in our cart. I sign into our account and see that there are 2 people as authorized users that we have no clue as to who these individuals are. I immediately call the fraud department. They did not place the calls to us. We were advised that their number must have been spoofed for the phone calls and text messages.

Our business got an invoice in the mail for $*** for Online Business Listing that we never ordered. Invoice states that The ATT Pages is not affiliated with AT&T and or affiliated companies but are using an image similar to AT&T. When calling a message ask for the phone number so they can call back since the representatives are busy. They never call back.

My father-in-law (84yo) received a call from "AT&T Customer Service" on 9/25/2018. The caller stated that he can reduce my FILs monthly phone and TV bill from his current amount (provided to the caller by my FIL) to approximately 2/3 of his current bill. The scam involved paying upfront 3 months of the new amount and then this amount ($89) would be good for a total of 21 months thereafter. This 3-month amount was to be paid with an Amazon gift cart for $270, then call the number back before 9pm that evening with the promotion code provided by the caller along with the gift card activation code number. In addition, the caller also stated that if the offer was accepted my FIL he would receive a $100 gift card. The number provided by the caller was 1-888-302-5632 with promotion code DIV57897. My FIL called his daughter to see if this offer was legitimate. Upon further investigation and a call to AT&T, AT&T confirmed this was not a current promotion and was fraudulent.

I did not answer. They left a voicemail. Starts out “Dear AT&T wireless customer your account has been suspended for verification to reactivate your account press one to be transferred over to a representative.”

I have Verizon...

call from 253-888-2121 said they were from ATT and our computer had been hacked and needed our computer ID. We didn't give them any info but talked with them a few minutes. We called the number back and someone answered and said they were Slime Spudder are something like that. I called ATT and tried to give them the number but all they wanted to do was put us on some call list. They didn't even want the phone number and seemed unconcerned that their name was used.

Call that said my att account had been cancelled due to verification

ATT Customer Care called stating that I would be receiving a $99 rebate for being a loyal customer. Asked for PIN and to Verify First and Last Name. Asking Yes or No Questions. DO NOT GIVE it is a scam - called ATT to let them know.

Recieved a call on my phone and the Caller claimed to be from ATT asked if this is (my wifes name) and I said no she's out. Asked if the phone was in my possession and if there had been a call to Australia placed the day before. Took me off guard and with out thinking replied yes and no. Called the real ATT a fewminutes later and they hadn't called us.Most likely this is a type of "YES" phone scam.

I received a call from an unknown number. They said my wireless phone had been terminated. In order to find out more about it I needed to put in my AT&T password. I hung up and called AT&T, they said they would never call and ask for your passcode.

A man called pretending to be a customer rep. from AT&T he said this was an alert because someone had "cloned" our sim card and used it to make 2 international calls, 1 to brazil and 1 to Jamaica totaling 520.00... he wanted to check to make sure these calls were our calls since we had never made those calls before!! He knew our passcode we never gave it to him, he knew where one of us works and the color of the vehicle he drives, he knew all numbers associated with the acct. now they have order a new Samsung phone and shipped it to fort mills sc 800 miles from us, and tried to do it again!! then a few hours later we find out they have done this to 2 other ppl we know so they are good and fast! AT&T will not call you they send text or email they expressed that and even if they do call, you hang up and call them back you never know who is behind it scam or not!!!

I RECEIVED A BILL BY THE ATT PAGES, THIS IS NOT A REAL COMPANY NOR IS IT AFFILIATED WITH ATT, THE PHONE ASKS YOU TO LEAVE A MESSAGE. THEY SEND YOU A BILL AND TELL YOU A 10 LATE FEE WILL BE ASSESSED. THIS IS NOT A REAL BILL

When answered it was a prerecorded message stating my At&T account has been suspended due to nonpayment and that i needed to speak to a representative to make a payment.

I knew this was a scam so I called At&T directly since I know my account is in good standing. They confirmed this is a scam.

Automated system claimed to be AT&T wanting me to verify my phone password. For me a Verizon customer (since about 2009) with a number that used to be AT&T to verify my phone password and other critically identifiable informarion. Was a big red flag. As this was an automated system I felt the need to report.
