Type of a scam Online Purchase
Thank goodness they aps & my banks declined the transactions. Unfortunately, I gave him my husbands credit card information to put the transaction through to pay for it. Today my husband received an email from the credit card company asking if 2 transactions to a business if they were made by him. They were not to the transport company but some other company. I immediately went into the credit card account and selected there was a problem with those transactions and locked the card and requested a new card with a new number. There were several emails back & forth with "Jim" hounding me for the money and sounding sincere about getting the puppy to me. There are way too many to post here. In researching to see if they are a scam I found https://www.scamwarners.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=160851 where there reports of the following 2 company names with the same scams: AmericanAirMovers.com & UnitedairMovers.com. The AtlanticsTransportServices has an "s" at the end of Atlantics. There is a company online without the "s". The website notes the following are Our Official Partners: UPS Ready, DHL, FedEx & United States Postal Service. They also noted in the scamwarners.com they are registered with the USDA.
