I searched for an appliance repair company near where I live, made an appointment for this company to come out to repair our dryer. They came, took the dryer apart, I was present the entire time. They told me what part was broken and the cost for service call fee, and for the part itself. I paid by check and made a follow up appointment for them to come back to install the new part 4 days later. They never repsonded to any more of my phone calls and never showed for the appointment I had.
