The caller said he was Amazon and to secure my phone I need to buy a Google card for 200. I did and then he said go back and by another 200.00 card that's when I kknewit was a scam

My parents are in their late eighties. My father has dementia. Just in the last week they have received 2 phone calls within a few days of each other saying they have an order for them from Amazon. First phone call was from a female. Second phone call was from a male. They said to my parents they have an order for them from Amazon. It went from $300.00 to $499.00 dollar orders. Both persons were asking for them to go to their computer and fill out a cancellation order.

I got a call from "Amazon" and that someone tried to buy a iphone 11 for $1499.00. It was on my wife's account. They asked to get laptop to cancel the order.

I got scammed with Amazon fake email.

They said there was an issue with my account.

Wanted to update my information.

I unfortunately gave them my name, date of birth, address and social security number.They wanted my credit card number and then I thought that was too much since I updated my credit card information 2 weeks ago.

I got so scared!!!!!!!

Called Experian right away and put fraud alert. I also informed my bank.

I am still worrying what they can do.

I was so stupid it’s ashamed to admit.

On 5/1/21 at 1:39pm, my answering machine recorded the following: "...$49.99 on your Visa card. If you have made this purchase on Amazon.com and recognize it, then simply hang up and your order will be delivered to you. However, if you have not made any such transaction, you can call Amazon Support right away on (719)319-0009. Again, the number is (719)319-0009. Thank you."

Note: Caller Id showed a number in Limon, CO: (719)892-4996

I did not return the call.

I received an e-mail stating my Apple 16" macbook pro order had been dispatched by AMAZON for a total of $1534.80. When I called the customer support number 877-403-0802 and told them I did not place this order he said it could be cancelled and hung up without asking any information. The e-mail came from BILLING [email protected]

I answered a “mystery shopper” Amazon post on indeed (or so I thought). I received a text that I was about to receive a check in the mail and to please deposit it right away when I received it and I would receive instructions with the check. I knew it was a scam immediately as I know that no professional business does hiring this way. Sure enough the instructions ask to purchase tons of gift cards in the amount of the check minus $500 that I can take out for myself. The check was written for $2,500. Then I have to quickly as fast as I can mail all the gift cards to an address. Nice try.

I received a text message from amazon, I called the number and he said I have international hackers into my account and i have to by 2 Gift card $500.00 each and he going to deposit the $1,000.00 to my Discover card the one I use for amazon the discover company denied the purchase and i used my debit card from ***** ***** ****** *****, after he make speak with his manager**************** and she said we stoped only 2 hackers and she need more money to stop the 4 hackers from different country.I said i cant

She send me transaction ID(*** ************) for the deposit

I reported to the police *****************

Someone ordered or said I ordered over 3000.00 camera and i phone from Amazon. I did not order these items. I called Amazon and they had no orders for cameras or phone on my account.

They called me asking for my mom. Said she had a pending charge for an iPhone and needed to confirm the charge. Starters, my mom doesn't live with me, nor does she have an Amazon account. I hung up and called Amazon customer service and confirmed it wasn't them who called. Amazon said to report it here

Received a robo phone call 04/27/2021 at approx. 2pm from amazon stating an i-phone was being purchased on my account and if I did not authorized this push one on the phone I did so was transfered to an unknown person when I hung up the phone.

Keep receiving phone calls telling me they are with

Amazon. I believe someone is pretending to be calling from Amazon and stating that a charge of 989.99 is attached to my Amazon account.

I have spoken with a real Amazon Rep, who states this is someone who is probably trying to get into my account and any personal info, etc....

I was advised to report it to the FTC.

These are the two numbers that they call from constantly. 18004750673 and 18664042168.

Could someone please investigate who these scammers could possibly be.
