I have been receiving calls from amazon and they are calling about my account and there is a charge for over 700 and it says to hold on and I hang up. I have called amazon before and they have said they do not call people with an account and they do not show me as having an account, which I already knew.

I received a robocall claiming to be from Amazon who said $349 had been charged to my card and that I had to call a certain phone number. I called ************ and spoke to two men, Gary ******* and Mark ******. They would up taking over my computer and showing me that they had deposited $3349 into my bank account. They said they made a mistake and had to have me return the $3,000 they said was mistakenly put into my account. I had to go to CVS and buy $3,000 worth of gift cards and sent the information from the cards back to someone named James ****** at ************* They tried to get me to wire $9,400 back to them, but I had no more money.

My parents are in their late eighties. My father has dementia. Just in the last week they have received 2 phone calls within a few days of each other saying they have an order for them from Amazon. First phone call was from a female. Second phone call was from a male. They said to my parents they have an order for them from Amazon. It went from $300.00 to $499.00 dollar orders. I got scammed with Amazon fake email.

They said there was an issue with my account.

Wanted to update my information.

I unfortunately gave them my name, date of birth, address and social security number.They wanted my credit card number and then I thought that was too much since I updated my credit card information 2 weeks ago.

I got so scared!!!!!!!

Called Experian right away and put fraud alert. I also informed my bank.

I am still worrying what they can do.

I was so stupid it’s ashamed to admit.

I answered a “mystery shopper” Amazon post on indeed (or so I thought). I received a text that I was about to receive a check in the mail and to please deposit it right away when I received it and I would receive instructions with the check. I knew it was a scam immediately as I know that no professional business does hiring this way. Sure enough the instructions ask to purchase tons of gift cards in the amount of the check minus $500 that I can take out for myself. The check was written for $2,500. Then I have to quickly as fast as I can mail all the gift cards to an address. Nice try.

Keep receiving phone calls telling me they are with

Amazon. I believe someone is pretending to be calling from Amazon and stating that a charge of 989.99 is attached to my Amazon account.

I have spoken with a real Amazon Rep, who states this is someone who is probably trying to get into my account and any personal info, etc....

I was advised to report it to the FTC.

These are the two numbers that they call from constantly. 18004750673 and 18664042168.

Could someone please investigate who these scammers could possibly be.
