Amazon Reports & Reviews (940)

I have received 3-5 texts claiming ive won prizes for Amazon. I haven’t clicked the link but I did reply to one to inform them I am reporting. The phone numbers they use change every single time. I’ve blocked and deleted them.

Just got this text.

Christopher, you still have $150 Amazon Bonus credit: w3fsv.info/8UvrLtcH6K See what you can claim before it expires on 03/24 w3fsv.info/8UvrLtcH6K

The person or persons are using a human voice as well as an automated voice regarding false Amazon charge(s). The person(s) called from these phone numbers last year regarding another matter. But I can’t recall what it was dismissing it as a scam after I checked out the calls coming from the 371 exchange.

I have recordings or voice mails left.

I received a text message "reminding me" time is running out to claim my $150 bonus credit.

- Hollywood, FL, USA

I have gotten several of these already through texts and emails and every time the bonus credits are for different amounts and the links are always different. I have spoken to Amazon and they did not come from them. I also have more screen shots of a few more if needed. I would not click on any of the links whatsoever so I’m not sure what is in those links

Received a call from 502-553-6767. It said that there was $778.00 in purchases to my account that was pending. That if I didn't make the purchase then press 1. I hung up. It was an automated call, that sounded like a fraud department calling to make sure that the purchase was genuine. I didn't make a purchase. The account didn't show any pending transactions.

I received a voicemail that someone had charged a iMac to my Amazon account. If I had not made this purchase I was to call back but the number was not left and was not in my call log.

They called back later and the number was local to mine, I answered and they asked me my name and I told them that there was supposedly a charge on my Amazon account for a computer and they hung up on me. I called the number back and it was actually someone's phone number. I warned him but there was nothing else I could do.

I looked at my Amazon account and there was no charges.

I received a text message from 214-957-5476 from Amazon; saying that I'd come in first in that day's raffle, winning a new pair of pods. They sent me a link to click. Which I did not click. Later that day, I received another text from Amazon this number was different from the first, 214-793-6296. The message said Congratulations ******, you came in 2nd in March's Amazon pods raffle. Click the link. Two days later I received this text: ******, you still have $100 Amazon Rewards credit. There was another link to click. This text came from 214-236-9431.

Contacted by person twice this week(one a female & one a male), both stating I had made an Amazon purchase of $1000 and another one of $800 on my credit card. I was told not to do anything if this was corrrect, but if not, I was to call Amazon fraud number, then gave me a number to call. I hung up immediately on both calls.

My mother has received several packages from amazon. When we tried to call to see why she was receiving these packages, we were told without any account number, they could not help us. They did inform us that there were several packages scheduled to be sent to her. I believe this is a brushing scam.

Caller leaves VM and states they are calling from Amazon telling me an my order has shipped and has a different amount each time they call ($600/$1000)

Received repeat calls from the same number, which I didn’t answer. After numerous calls I answered the phone. They said my Amazon account was showing an unusually large purchase and they were calling to verify account information. The automated voice claimed I had a $700+ purchase. They left a different phone number for me to call with my credit card information but I didn’t have anything to write it down. I hung up and searched the internet for Amazon scams, and I found a similar experience.

Received a shipping notice on a product that had not been ordered. Phone number at bottom led to operator who said he would help me take away access to the account from whomever had placed the order. He gave instruction to do an Amazon search. That search led to Amazon gift card. I hung up at that point.
