Amazon Reports & Reviews (926)

I received a call several times stating they were from Amazon, and they wanted me to send them $300 to get charges off my account. I hung up.

Text message: “ Amazon: Congratulations *****, you came in 1st in March's Amazon pods raffle! Click the link to : v6fmc.info/et1FkvlwVP”

I get up to 10 a day.

I just received this random text message to my cell phone.

"Amazon: Congratulations Mayra, you came in 1st in today's Amazon pods raffle! Click the link to ..." screenshot included.

I didn't click the link, of course. Also my name isn't Mayra. I understand this is becoming a common phishing scam these days.

Samantha, you still have $130 Amazon Rewards credit: ********************* See what you can buy before it expires on 03/28 *********************

This is my 2nd to receive this text:

Amazon: Congratulations Henry, you came in 2nd in March's Amazon pods raffle! Click the link to : v2fxw.info/9Bbfbqc0jF

Text message saying I win a raffle, used the wrong name.

- Hillsboro, OR, USA

I have received several of these Amazon March pods raffle notifications. Wasn't totally sure it was a scam at first because they used my first name ("Congratulations [my name],...) But, I knew I had not entered any raffles on Amazon and I had not seen it advertised on their website, so this made me suspicious. Remember, if they are running a raffle of any sort, they're gonna advertise it!

They said I placed 1st place in a raffle by amazon for free Airpods.

The text message said “Amazon: Congratulations Michelle, you came in 2nd in March's Amazon pods raffle! Click the link to : v5fsr.info/WrIrfImxLY” and I’ve received multiple of these texts in the last week.
