Listed on Facebook Marketplace, the seller's information keeps changing, the latest name on the post is Michael O'Brien but that is not who I originally responded to, it was Aaron Maples.

1963 Chevrolet Impala SS Convertible for sale for $14,000 on Facebook Marketplace. Arron responded back saying he was selling it for his sister and gave me his sisters email address. Helen Barnes, [email protected].

I emailed Helen and she replied saying she was the original owner, and she got the car through her divorce. She then said she had throat surgery and was staying with her daughter and handed all the work of getting it sold over to Albion Logistics. Said she needed my address then would send it to the logistics company to get it started. I then received an email from them with an attached contract and invoice. And asked for a lot more information including SSN, Driver's license, picture, etc. that is where I stopped and looked them up on ScamPulse.com

There was a utility tractor listed on Facebook marketplace, so I contacted the seller to set up time to look at it. He replied that he listed it for a neighbor and to email her at [email protected]. I emailed her to set up a time to look at it. Here is her response.

“ This is Debbie selling the 2014 John Deere 3039R, come with all attachment and trailer. It was my husband's tractor, but he passed away earlier this year, and being in a difficult situation I'm forced to sell it. Also, I recently moved to my late parents' house in Columbia, SC cause I had a thyroidectomy and need rest managing the recovery. Considering the circumstances I made arrangements with a shipping company, Albion Logistics, Inc. to help me with payment and delivery as I'm unable to. The tractor is already in their possession all prepped & ready for delivery which is included. The price is $14,000 with no other fees involved !

I then asked where it was located so we could look at it and if purchasing haul it ourselves. She replied it was already in Columbia SC. I did find the company she referenced when doing research and called them to ask general questions on how the escrow process works.

We got an email from the company and I have attached the information in the email.

I did research more research on the person noted for the escrow company Anthony Behles and found him listed on a scammer website and they reported the same scenario with minor changes to names and locations. I have not given them any information requested in the verification part of the document.
