IRS scam. 02/26/18. 3:39 p.m. Left message on home phone. A Michelle White claiming to be IRS. "Final Notice. Claim against me. Before it goes to Federal claims court and they will arrest me. Call back immediately." Clearly a scam.

Got a phone call at 9:10am.

Automative message started to play saying they are IRS and this is an urgent and very series issue regarding tax. They said I must call them back in next 24 hours before they start legal action to have me arrested.

I knew this was a scam so I wanted to call them to hear what they had to say when I tell them I will be reporting them.

The phone call never went through and I'm afraid if that was their scam.

called today and said i owed back taxes from 2009 to 2014. He did not pronounce my name right, and he said they had sent 2 certified letters that I did not respond to. This is my last chance. That if I hung up, the police would be notified, and could be put in jail.

how do we catch these thieves? this must be scaring our vulnerable seniors to send money.

I asked for the callers full name and employee number, and I asked for his managers full names and ID number....they hung up on me!
