I POSTED A SALE ON CRAIG LIST. A SCAMMER THAT I BELEIVE CONTACTED BE BY EMAIL. THIS PERSON STATED THEY WANTED TO PURCHASE TWO SCOOTERS THAT I WERE SELLING ONLY IN A EMAIL. WE TALKED ABOUT MEETING ON LAST SATURDAY.I EMAIL TO GET A TIME. THEY EMAIL BACK AT LATER TIME .STATED THAT THEY WERE LONG HOURS. THEY DID NOT WANT ME TO SELL THE ITEMS. HE/SHO (FEMALE NAME WAS ON THE GMAIL ADDRESS IN FACT THEY USED ANOTHER F/M NAME ON ANOTHER GMAIL ADDRESS. THET PERSON EMAIL ME THAT THEY WERE GOING TO OVER NIGHT ME A CHECK AND FOR ME TO REMOVE THE ITEM OFF CRAIG LIST.( NOT GOING TO HAPPEN) I ADVISED BACK IN EMAIL REPLY THAT CHECKS TAKE UP TO 5 DAYS TO CLEAR. MY PHONE NAME,TELEPHONE NUMBER AND A SCOOTER LOCATON ADRRESS IS ON CRAIG LIST POSTING. THE SCAMMER WANTED ME TO EMAIL MY NAME.ADDRESS TO MAIL OUT THIS CHECK. THIS WAS LAST WEEK. TODAY 11/2/23 A LARGE CHECK FOR $3,950.00 WAS MAILED UPS NEXT DAY AIR WITH TRACKING#124709290193673933 , I THINK THIS HAS TO DO WITH THE SCAMMERS FROM CRAIG LIST. I SELLING THE SCOOTERS FOR $1,600. THAN I GET A CHECK LIKE THE SCAMMERS STATED OVER NIGHT TO ME. ON THE CK COMPANY CALL ACERAGEN,INC, 15 TW ALEXANDER DR SUITR 318, DURHAM,NC27709 A BANK NAMED ON THIS CK IS PACIFIC WESTERN BANK, BEVERLY HILLS, CA MADE OUT IN MY NAME AND HOME ADDRESS AND ZIP CODE. NAME AND ADDRESS & ZIP WHAT I GAVE THE SCAMMERS. I EMAILED THE PERSON THE NEXT MORNING AND ADVISED THEM I BELIEVE THIS WAS A SCAM. I WILL NOT DO BUSINESS BY EMAIL. IF THEY ARE NOT SCAMMERS THAT CAN CONTACT BY TELEPHONE IF THEY WANT THE SCOOTERS. THIS IS WHY I THINK THIS IS THE SAME SCAMMERS. THEY NEVER EMAIL ME AGAIN. NOR DID THEY EVER CALLED
