I received a call from someone claiming to be "Sheriff Deputy Ethan Welch" from a 972 number (972-807-0363). The caller claimed to be with the Sheriff’s Office. This appears to be a law-enforcement impersonation scam. The number is not associated with any legitimate sheriff’s department, and the name does not match any real deputy. Caller ID was likely spoofed. I did not provide personal information or payment.
