Multiple calls and they left a voice mail but did not provide a company name who was calling back, they claimed it was a call back. I never made that type of call. I did not answer the call.

I thought I was calling XFINITY to pay my bill. The person on the phone had all of my information but I got a red flag when they told me my credit card company was about to text and ask me was the most recent transaction correct and I was to say yes. That’s when I hung up! Then I received an email from XFINITY saying my 2 factor had been turned off! The scammer used called Bob TV as their name.

I called Xfinity to change the address of my new service. Rep. Said $175.00, I refused and asked to speak to a supervisor. When he came on the line, he to tried to get me to pay $175.00, finally I said just cancel my service. He asked then, how much can you pay. I'd just paid $50.00 to set up the new service, the move fell through, so I needed to get the new service address changed. Knowing I'd need the service to be active on the 28th, I agreed to $70.00. He gave me his name after taking my card information., A reference number, and said zComcast outsourced installation, the technician would come out the 29th. He gave me a number to call if I have any problems. The number is no good. I felt weird after talking to him, the next day I checked my account for the pending debit of $70.00. they had taken $200.00. The guy said the charge would come through from a netcore, it actually came through as Comcast Jacksonville. Had to wait for it to post to dispute it. I called the Xfinity number back, got an actual Comcast rep. He checked for the new service info I gave, he couldn’t find it, he immediately told me to call my bank. He also cancel the set at the previous address, told me no money was needed because my service had never been activated, he transferred me to get new service set up. The set up was so different than I'd experienced with the scammer. Now, I have to wait to get my money back. The Lady on the bank sounded very iffy. Like it was my fault.
