I was sent multiple letters in the mail regarding activating my vehicle service contract. I received the latest one stating "final notice", so I gave them a call. They knew my name, home address, vehicle, loan percentage, etc. I asked for clarification as I had already purchased the warranty through my dealership and financial institution and they confirmed it was the same thing but needed to be 'activated'. I turned off my phone when they began asking for routing numbers and account numbers. I realized it was a scam.
