Received a letter in the mail addressed to my father with our current home lender/mortgage company listed. Letter tried to portray themselves as Assurance Fin'l group but then disclosed in small print at the bottom that they were not affiliated with them in actuality. There was a fake check for an allocated waiver included. My father is NOT the homeowner, nor does he own the property which is what originally tipped me off to the scam.
