Shop app push notification said my order will ship soon. Looking at the order details, there's no product aside from a "premium pc protection plan" which is nonsensical for me. The product description, in its entirety:

Thank you for your purchase. Your Premium PC Protection Plan is active for 12 months. Invoice: PCP-845859 | Transaction ID: TXN-9215828 | Customer Support: +1_888_527_7789-

The "delivery to" field also shows

"2856 If You Didn't Place This Order, Call Us at 1_-888-_527-_7789-, Albany, 10001"

The "-_" are exactly as presented, which might make matching their scam easier

Received message (see attached) on personal smart phone. I called the number and told the person who answered I needed to speak to someone about a charge I didn't make. That person started asking me about what types of devices I use to access SHOP, which I thought was unusual and not needed to resolve the disputed charge. Initially I tried to answer some of the questions, but then I said, "This information isn't needed. Are you going to remove this charge?" The male answered that I had reached SHOP Customer Service and they needed me to not use my SHOP account for 24 hours. While talking to this individual, I googled the phone number and saw that it had come up as a SCAM, so I immediately hung up. The SHOP charge has not yet hit my bank account. In SHOP, it currently has a message that says "Waiting for details". I will attempt to update this report later if this status changes and let you know if the charge is deducted from my bank account.
