They called and left a voicemail with me stating I had taxes that were still due and that they would help me with the fees. They also stated I needed to call back today as this program for help on overdue taxes is not always available. I pay my taxes each year for personal and car. They use a sense of urgency for a limited time offer which is a typical scam tactic. They wanted a call back but I am reporting it instead. I see this was raised by someone else on August 17th as well.

I received a call from (877) 776-9668. The caller pressured me to purchase gift cards to resolve a supposed issue and provide the card codes over the phone. This is a known tactic where scammers ask victims to pay via gift cards because those payments are hard to trace or reverse.
