I received an unsolicited letter with my correct name and address from "Warranty Services". The letter included the correct Vin number for my car and was coordinated by date of sale which was correct. I was given a 3 month warrantee at the time of sale by Toyota. The guarantee is due to expire shortly. When I called the telephone number listed, the person explained that my current warrantee was already expired. That was my first indication that the company was trying to do something fishy. My current Toyota warranty is clearly still in effect. After the call with the scammer, I called the Toyota dealer where I purchased the car. They knew nothing about the extended warrantee offered. And said that calls like mine were common.

Extended warranty scam

I have now received 10 postcards from yesterday and 5 from today from this bogus company. This is a fake warranty scam! Please do not fall for this! I routinely check not only the number but the BBB for scams. This one apparently is a huge scam affecting many! I purchased a new car that already comes with several warranties lasting between 3-5 years. So there is no possibility of it expiring and needing to “act now” by a bogus deadline. I did not purchase the extended warranty from the dealership because it was too expensive and unnecessary. Had I purchased the extended warranty I would have known that and how long the warranty would have lasted so again it makes zero sense that the extended warranty would expire. If you purchased from a dealership and are still unsure I recommend calling them to verify.

Asked for my full name, once I accepted their offer they asked for my social and yes my big dumb self gave it to them. I then gave them my card info but luckily it was my old card so it didn’t go through. The man then got mad, hung up on me and then called my phone over 50 times with NO CALLER ID, non stop for about 30 mins

Received "letter" in the mail, printed on yellow paper. I've never heard of them, and I have never had a car warranty program outside of the manufacturer. It appears they got a hold of my VIN # and mailing address. Wants me to "extend" my warranty through 2026. There is no website or email address, just a toll-free phone number to respond by a made-up timetable.

Gracias por la primera persona que reportó esto no caí es la estafa. Espero que tú tampoco. Dejare una foto solo borrare mi dirección espero ayude.

I was scammed. I recently bought a car. I didn’t know that scammers would send out information about auto warranty about to expire. I thought it was real. This is my first time buying a car from the dealership. I didn’t know who to talk to about the information that I got. I thought it was real. I called them and they told me about the plans they had and went ahead and gave them money. I was feeling weird about it and decided to do some research and to find out that I was scammed. I lost money that I will not get back. What can I do?
