Received a call from United legal services, leaving a voicemail to call a number in reference to a matter that had to be tended to by 5 PM. Call the number and the gentleman State from Goldman litigation group and says that he’s calling in reference to an old loan from advance, America in which they are wanting to sue for nonpayment, when I requested what collection agency it was going through because I had not ever received anything prior to the phone call. He then stated it was from Schaeffer acquisitions. I informed the gentleman that I had not had any information sent to me prior to today in regards to any old debts and that any and all cash loans previously paid years ago. We’re over 10 years ago if it was one of them. He then stated he would mark it, as I am disputing the matter as I don’t recognize The creditor. Then I corrected him and said I’m not disputing anything nor am I confirming or denying either way because I do not have any information regarding this old debt. I requested the phone number to the collection agency and he stated he didn’t have that information as that was not his position to give and that he would just mark it as disputed and and they would be serving me papers to sue me for wage garnishment, tax garnishment, etc.. I notified him that to send whatever paperwork to me in the mail so that I could again, and I confirmed the debt, and he stated that he could not do that that he would just send the papers to be served and good luck.
