A pop up window that I could not close stated that my computer was locked for some hacking warning / alert. It directed me to call them to unlock my computer. We spoke 20 min, but only because the man’s voice was muffled, so I could not hear his instructions well. Fortunately, I was not able to input my Apple ID before my daughter walked in, took the phone, called him a scammer, and hung up. I gave them my name, email, address, and phone.
