They used 2 phone numbers. One was305-639-0403. I applied for a job in Data Entry-Remote through Linked-In. On Saturday, they sent me a text message over my wireless provider. They asked if i was still interested in a job. After telling them yes, they asked me to download the app Signal, gave me a phone number to text. I was told it was an HR person. They also said it was a text only interview. During the interview, they asked appropriate interview questions. Then I was told I have the job, what all was going to happen and asked if i wanted to have the money they were going to send me to help set up my home office direct deposited into my bank account or a paycheck through the mail. I said I wanted a paycheck through the mail as I never give out any account numbers. After letting me know that they were going to email me and talk to me on Monday. I never received an email, texted back both numbers to let them know I never received an email. I looked up the persons name I was supposedly talking to for the interview and things just didn't add up. On Monday morning, I was texted and told I would have to buy their software through a trusted company they choose. I asked what company and was given a name of a person. Then they said that they needed $200. Then they send me a form to sign but the form had the persons name spelled wrong. When I brought that up, they said nobody is a mistake. When I said that the credentials on the form were incorrect, they bypassed that and asked for the money. It was then I told them I was not interested. I didn't hear back from either phone number.

Exactly how the previous person experienced. I received a message to download the app "Signal" from the app store and was given a number to message the hiring manager "Jeanine Jacobsen." She said she saw my resume online and asked me some interview questions in text form on this app. Stating she was from Cisco "an American technology conglomerate corp headquartered in San Jose, CA. She states after answering her questions that I have the job working from home even thought the original message had NOTHING to do with the medical field. The jobs she listed were all technology/telecommunications/reception type jobs and I am in healthcare! I told her what job I was looking for and she told me they had that job as well!! She said pay was negotiable and I told her what I was looking to make she simply said "ok" with no back and forth or anything. She wanted my information like bank information and routing numbers to give me "funds to buy the equipment I will need to start up." I never gave her any information. I felt this was very fishy and did not respond. Please look into this, I am afraid there are others that will be or have been scammed!
