Scam call about mortgage with Arvest Bank
Unsolicited mortgage notice with incorrect ID
IMPORTANT NOTICE,
IMMEDIATE RESPONSE NEEDED -
BAR CODING that is almost going to the RE-PAID MAILING STAMP ON RIGHT SIDE,
with mortgage id number 545-875-445 (not my mortgage info)
It stated: You have recently closed on your mortgage (name of my mortgage company).
We are trying to reach you regarding a matter of importance concerning your mortgage with (the mortgage company name). This is time sensitive so please call us at (1-800-411-2119).
Mortgage ID#545-875-445. Please respond by:8/31/26...
There is some super tiny print at bottom of the card that was too small to read.....
“We are trying to reach regarding a matter of importance concerning your mortgage with Nations Direct MTG LLC.”
“This is time sensitive so please call us at (800) 411-2119 Mortgage ID# xxx-xxx-xxx.”
“Please respond by 4/27/2025”
In small print, it states this is a solidification for insurance and gives: MP SERVICE CENTER at (888) 778-5764 as the contact number.
It also states this information was obtained from public records but the name isn’t correct.
I used the correct number for Nations Direct to inform them of this mailing and did not use any contact phone numbers listed on the postcard.
