I was looking for a house online to rent. We found Dan Fleming on FB Watch where houses are posted. He was posing as a landlord. He said he had a house on Summit Ave, close to 17th by the fairgrounds in Columbus, Ohio. I went to the house, but we could not go in, nor did he meet us there. We did everything through Messenger. I bought a $60 Apple Pay card for the application fee. Then he asked for a deposit to take the house off the market as others were interested in it. I bought a $300 Apple Pay card. The clerk did not ask me anything about why I was buying it. I took a picture of the card and the receipt for him. Then he said the house was off the market, and asked for another $300 which my girlfriend paid. She went to Kroger's and bought an Apple Pay card for $300. He called us and he said the card was't any good someone had already used it. The Kroger clerk told us to be careful. He asked me to buy a $100 Amazon card and a $200 Google card. I sent him pictures of those as well. He said he was drawing up the lease, and as soon he got it, he would meet up with us at the house. He has never messaged back.
