Verbally Abusive Caller

ABUSIVE. This person tried to sell me advertising. When I told him I wasnt going to buy anything he started calling me foul names and cursing up a storm.

I am a professional Realtor. I answered this call from a person who identified himself as "Robert" who was creating a Directory for the Forrest Country Club in Fort Myers Florida, which I am very familiar with as I have sold property in that community. Once I kindly explained that due to Hurricane Ian my marketing budget for the upcoming year has been decreased and I would have to pass he rudely hung up the phone - So unprofessional. Not a way to start the day!

Called to ask if I worked a specific community in the area. I responded with "Yes, but I'm not interested in advertising at this time". He said, Oh my God, I wasn't...and then silence and he hung up. First time they hung up first. Made me laugh! :)

Scammer called to say I was chosen to be a top Realtor of choice for their club and that if I agreed they’d offer a monthly advertisement in their newsletter for $1,000. They sounded legitimate. But after I asked to talk to my brokerage they hung up. When I called back he said he didn’t call me and was issuing the same name he gave me when he answered the phone .
